Comprehension Passages for Older Students -

These highly engaging reading comprehension passages are professionally leveled by Lexile, Fountas and Pinnell, DRA, and grade level. Students can work on a specific comprehension skill while answering multiple choice, short answer questions, and underlining text evidence in the story. Because the comprehension passages are written for older students, they don't seem babyish to them.

Students are able to work at their ability level while completing purposeful work. This allows time for the teacher to work in small groups while the students are engaged and practicing their reading comprehension skills. The comprehension passages are available in both print and digital format and answer keys are included. These shorter passages allow for students to build stamina, which is crucial for the beginning of the year.
