Speaking & Listening Skills With a Book Talk

I wanted to share with you a lesson our home school classroom did about teaching good speaking and listening skills.

Speaking and Listening skills are so HUGE because these skills are used not only in every subject in school, but throughout our daily interactions with others.

Here is the blank mini-lesson anchor chart:

Have your class copy this into their reader's notebooks.  We copy each lesson into our mini-lesson (ML) section of our notebooks.
And, here is our completed class chart.  Each of my kids copied this into their notebooks so that they will have the lesson close by all year!
